Dr. Woojin Jung has been invited to present at the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Conference on Computing and Sustainable Societies (COMPASS) at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, on July 22-25, 2025. Dr. Jung will present on the topic of "The last mile in remote sensing poverty prediction," a study that applies explainability techniques (such as Integrated Gradient and Guided Grad Cam) to evaluate standard vision models (Vision Transformers and CNN architectures such as Resnet and VGG16) for their poverty prediction tasks.
