Research Spotlight at the 2026 New Jersey Climate Change Research Symposium

The 2026 New Jersey Climate Change Research Symposium brought together researchers from across the state to share emerging insights on climate change. Hosted by Rutgers University, research presented throughout the day highlighted the need to understand the critical responses important to climate change.  Dr. Woojin Jung will be speaking about her work on the theme of Planning and Community, Developing a High-Resolution Hazard Vulnerability Index (2HVI) to Improve Community Resilience in New Jersey. Dr. Jung’s presentation contributes to ongoing research that can be translated and supported into meaningful, informed climate action for New Jersey’s future.
