Dr. Woojin Jung's recent presentations spanned both invited talks and peer-reviewed conference acceptances:


• "Geographic targeting of food security in urban areas informed by community-driven insights" at the Conference on Integrated Health and Social Work at National Taiwan University in May.


• "Contextualized poverty targeting through multimodal spatial data and machine learning in Brazzaville, Congo" at the Africa Evidence Summit in Nairobi hosted by the Center for Effective Global Action at the #UC Berkeley in June.

• "Targeting Urban Poverty and Food Insecurity: A Community-informed Spatial Analysis and Machine Learning Approach" at the #Stanford Global Policy Lab and UC Berkeley Institute for Research on Labor and Employment in August, and at Seoul National University in September.

• "The last mile in remote sensing poverty prediction" at the Symposium on Spatiotemporal Data Science at #Harvard Center for Geographic Analysis in May and the ACM COMPASS conference at the University of Toronto in July. This work has been published open access in the ACM Journal on Computing and Sustainable Societies and accepted to the RISE AI Conference at the University of Notre Dame.

These presentations provided incredible opportunities for academic exchange and helped Dr. Jung strengthen collaborative networks with researchers passionate about advancing data-driven solutions for global development challenges worldwide.
