At the Data Infrastructure for Development (DID) Summit
Dr. Woojin Jung presented the talk, "Contextualized poverty targeting with multimodal spatial data and machine learning in Brazzaville, Congo," at the DID Summit, hosted by the Center for Effective Global Action with the University of California, Berkeley, in Lome, Togo.
At the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
Dr. Woojin Jung participated in the workshop focused on strengthening how diverse knowledge systems are synthesized and assessed to support climate research and decision-making. The IPCC hosted "Engaging Diverse Knowledge Systems and Methods of Assessment" in Reading, United Kingdom. The workshop explored approaches for integrating scientific, Indigenous, local, and practitioner knowledge, as well as emerging assessment methods such as artificial intelligence and systematic review techniques.
