Invited to serve as a Contributing Author for IPCC Seventh Assessment Report (AR7)

Dr. Jung has been invited to serve as a Contributing Author for the Seventh Assessment Report (AR7) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the international body for assessing the science of climate change and its environmental and socio-economic impacts. She will contribute to Working Group II, which assesses the vulnerability of socio-economic and natural systems to climate change and options for adapting to it, and to its brand-new Chapter 20, "Poverty, Livelihoods, Fragility and Mobility." The invitation draws on her expertise in high-resolution poverty and vulnerability mapping using AI, multimodal data, and spatial analytics.
