Launched and Designed Brand New Ph.D.-Level Course

Dr. Woojin Jung recently launched and taught a new Ph.D.- level course, "AI/ML/Spatial Data Science for Global Development," that she proposed and developed to address emerging needs in global development. This course brought together 10 doctoral students from diverse disciplines (e.g., economics, public policy, information science, & social work), encouraging interdisciplinary research. This academic offering included novel data sources, collaborative policy-relevant research projects, and hands-on computational training.
